Reception Visit to Warleigh Lodge Farm

What a fantastic time we all had at Warleigh Lodge Farm. We enjoyed running about the fields, and then exploring the tree line for signs of wildlife! We saw a badger sett and found plenty of places that a minibeast could live. Next we walked through the sheep fields towards an ancient tree that we could sit inside and took the opportunity to roll down the nearby hill. We took a tractor ride to see some beautiful South Devon cows and their calves and then it was time for lunch! The fun didn't stop there: after lunch we fed the lambs milk and straw, made a bed for the pigs and fed the chickens! After collecting some eggs from the hen house it was time to return to school, tired but happy. A huge thank you to all the parent helpers who came and to Farmer Julian and Rose.
