We are a Year 6 group of children with a range of strengths and learning needs. The inclusion base provides us with the support and opportunities we need to thrive, achieve success and reach our potential.

Term 1

Our topic is all about the Vikings as we explore the question: Were the Vikings raiders, traders, or something else? Our class text, Riddle of the Runes, will bring this exciting period of history to life and support our learning throughout the term. In Art, the children will create retrofuturistic space-themed artwork, experimenting with a range of techniques and media. In Science, our focus will be forces, where pupils will investigate how forces work, use newton measurements, and create and test pendulums. We also have some exciting opportunities beyond the classroom. Some of the Year 6 children will be heading off to Pencelli for their residential adventure.
