Eggciting Times in Swift Class

We have been so lucky in Swift Class as parents Anna and Jim from Stowford Manor Farm have provided us with everything we needed to hatch chicks from eggs! We learned about: the role of an incubator; candling the eggs to see if there is a chick inside; the pipping stage where little holes appear; and finally the joy of hatching chicks themselves! We were incredibly lucky to get six chicks from six eggs and absolutely loved talking to the chicks and admiring how quickly they fluffed up and began exploring the world.
