This week there has been lots of brilliant maths learning across the school.

In year 2, the children have been learning to use the terms 'heavier' and 'lighter' when describing the mass of objects. They enjoyed being human balance scales.

In year 3 the children have been learning to choose efficient strategies to add and subtract to solve word problems. They have been learning to look for near doubles, use known number facts and bridge across 10 and 100.

In year 6 the children have been learning about prime numbers and how to multiply a number by 100.

Well done to all the children for their brilliant effort this week!
