WW2 Workshop YR 5/6

This week, Year 5 and 6 were fully immersed in the world of World War II during a captivating workshop led by a historical reenactor portraying a soldier. The session brought history to life as he retold the key events leading up to the war, shared important facts and dates, played music from the era, and even broadcasted the famous speeches of Winston Churchill. One of the highlights for the children was the rare opportunity to see and hold a replica of a gun that would have been used during the war; a truly memorable and educational experience.
