WW2 Y5/6 Morning
BackYear 5 and 6 were very fortunate to enjoy an immersive morning exploring life during World War II. The children had the unique opportunity to learn about and try on authentic American and British outfits, comparing the different styles and roles of the time.
The workshop also included hands-on experiences with historical artifacts, such as an air raid bell and a “clicker,” giving the students a real sense of the era. Thanks to the generosity of one of our parents, who hosted the mini workshop, every child was fully engaged and able to step back in time, bringing history vividly to life.
It was a memorable and educational experience that sparked curiosity and deepened understanding of this important period in history.
