Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.


How are we spending our Sports Premium Funding?

Sports Premium Impact Statement for  2016-17 


* All staff have completed impact evaluations of in school CPD and use next steps to develop an ongoing CPD programme

* Sports APP is providing immediate results for participation levels and is live for Ofsted

* All children from Y1 to 6 have participated in cluster festivals- FS2 Gym/ compete on line Y1/2 multi-skills/ compete on line, Y3/4/5/6 Tag Rugby/ X country challenge

* SK ( sports coach) delivering an outstanding standard of teaching – Drop ins by BB show this level of expertise was evident in FS2 KS1 and LKS2

* All members of staff have received CPD from SK during the year 2016-17

* Staff audit showed weaknesses and these areas are being addressed through ongoing CPD- team teaching with SK to upskill

* Audit of participation levels outside the curriculum- T1 86% T3 90% T6 93%- increase due to sports leaders aim for this year

* Leadership programme is now embedded- children taking the lead with their allocated groups and organising intra and inter schools competitions

* Over subscription for after school clubs is the norm- however all children wishing to join have been allocated space in at least one club per term

* Inclusivity is increasing- children who are the least enthusiastic have been targeted by sport leaders at lunchtime either to join in or work alongside them as an extra leader

* Puffins class took part in West Wilts dance festival in Feb 17- inclusivity was assured as this was not a dance club, all participated fully and thoroughly enjoyed the experience

* Retained Sainsbury Gold Sports award- July 17

* Achieved Bronze Healthy schools award- Participation level of 93% of pupils taking part in Sport beyond the curriculum- April 17
