Headlines
Inset days – Please note that school is closed to pupils on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd September. Children
are due back in school on Monday 5th September.
New Telephone System – On 2nd September 2016 we are having a new telephone system installed at School. This will vastly improve our communication system for all concerned; the new system will have an automated absence reporting facility to report pupil absence and a second incoming line for external calls. We don’t envisage there will be any problems with the new install but please do bear with us if you encounter any problems. The telephone number for the school won’t be changing and you will still be able to contact the school office on 01225 862162.
Music tuition – Mrs Andrews who currently provides our music and ukulele lessons is now able to provide private piano, keyboard, ukulele and woodwind lessons for individuals or groups in school . Further details will be sent out in September.
School Uniform – Please note that we are no longer holding any school uniform stock at school. Please visit Trowbridge Schoolwear for all your uniform requirements.
Lost property – If you are missing any items please come and check in the lost property boxes in reception. All unnamed items will be removed tomorrow (Friday 22nd July).
Library Books – All library books and reading books should be returned please before the end of term. Many thanks.
An urgent plea re PE T-shirts – We still have a number of Fitzmaurice PE T-shirts which have not been returned. Please ensure these are given back to Miss Blake before the end of term.
Change of inset day – Please note that we have had to change one of our inset days next year. This will now be 23rd June instead of 12th June.
Free Swimming for under 16’s – Please see the following link to register your child for free swimming sessions over the Summer holidays. http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/leisureandrecreation/leisureandsportscentres/leisurefreeswimming.htm
