Active Club – Please note that there will be no Active club on Thursday 30th June.
Team St Laurence – A reminder from TSL that all food orders should be in by the Thursday before. Earlier this week there were 40 extra orders on the day in KS2 in particular and this is becoming a regular occurrence. TSL have indicated that they may have to start refusing orders if this continues as there is not enough food to feed all these extras at short notice. Thank you for your co-operation.
Sports Day – This is now taking place on Tuesday 28th June, FS2/KS1 from 10.30am and KS2 from 1.30pm. Parents are very welcome to attend. If you would like to join us for the morning session, we would request that you arrive promptly via the Poulton gate which will be locked at 10.35am for site security. If joining us for the KS2 afternoon session, please arrive via the wooden gate by the office. The gate will be locked at 1.35pm for site security. Each session lasts approx. 1 hr. We would appreciate it if you can spectate only on the right hand side of the track and not at the finish line. At the end of the KS2 races, parents will have to wait until the end of the school day to collect their children.
Miss Blake would also be very grateful for any parent/carer helpers on the day, please make yourself known when you arrive. We do hope the weather is kind to us on the day and that many of you will come to cheer on your children!
Year 3/4 Food workshop – Vicki and Jann from Riverford Veg boxes ran a food workshop for Puffin class as part of our Healthy Week. The children had great fun creating rainbow salads and trying out lots of different veg. We hope that you all received the leaflet in bookbags last week regarding Riverford’s veg boxes and the fundraising opportunity for the school, if you sign up to receive at least 3 veg boxes. There are a few spare copies on the reception desk if you need another one.
Strawberry Fair – All cake tins/plates etc from the Strawberry Fair need to be collection as soon as possible from the reception area thank you!
