Swift class cake sale – A reminder that Swift class cake sale is on tomorrow, Friday 23rd September. Parents of Swift class that are able to help, please arrive at the hall for 3pm onwards for set up. Donations of cakes can either be dropped off at the office or brought to the hall from 3pm. Thank you, Miss Foord.

After school clubs – After school club lists are being finalised and you will be informed by the end of Friday if your child has a space. Please note as stated on the clubs letter, we aim to give as many children as possible the opportunity to take part in a club and so spaces will be allocated in a fair and equitable manner. We thank you in advance for your appreciation of this.

St Laurence Cross Country – A reminder that the Cross country championships are being held at St Laurence School for years 3-6. If your child wants to take part then you need to arrive with them by 3.30pm for the warm up, with yr 3/4 races due to start at 3.45pm and yr 5/6 races due to start at 4pm. Please be aware that Mr Kiely and Ms Blake will also be going but your children are your responsibility for the duration of the event.

Puffin class swimming – Swimming for Puffin class only, started on Wednesday 21st September. A reminder again that all children must have swim hats and those that wear goggles must bring in a permissions note from home stating this. A note in the communication book is sufficient. Yr 4’s that have previously sent in a permission from last year do not need to again this year.

The Nest and Goldfinch class Forest School – Children from these classes can come to school wearing their appropriate Forest School clothing (long trousers please.) However, please send your children in to school wearing their school shoes; this is so that they are in suitable footwear when not participating in their Forest school session. Wellies need to be sent in separately. Miss Evans.
