Fair School Funding Campaign for Wiltshire Schools.

Did you know that Wiltshire is one of the lowest funded Local Authorities in England?

Michelle Donelan (Member of Parliament for the Chippenham Constituency) is petitioning the Government to increase school funding to rural areas.   Ms Donelan would like our help in supporting this campaign. The target is 10,000 local resident’s signatures. If you would like to sign the petition you can do so at school reception, or alternatively you can sign the petition online at Please find attached the School Funding Briefing Paper which outlines the current school funding situation.

Parentmail – Over the last week you should have all received a text or email for the parentmail migration to the new PMX system. If you have not yet done so, please follow the link in the text/email to verify your account. It is vitally important that parents are using the PMX system so that we can ensure you are receiving all relevant and up to date information relating to your child. PMX also now have an app which can be downloaded to all smart phone devices, making it simpler to access communications from school.

Guitar Lessons – Mr Stewart will be running Guitar Lessons for 5 weeks next term, beginning on Thursday 5th November and finishing on Thursday 3rd December

Fitzmaurice PE T-Shirts – Miss Blake would like all School PE T-shirts to be washed and returned to her by the end of term.
