QuadKids Athlectics Competition - Wednesday 18th May 2022

The Fitzmaurice Quad Kids group went to an athletics competition. Did they succeed? Read on to find out!

We arrived at Bath University and got our numbers so the coaches could tell (Tongue Twister): which runner was running when (try saying that 5 times).

First was standing long jump, which we did okay on. Then was the sprinting which we did absolutely incredible on (and I, Anna, came first in and Jasmine came 2nd in) and most of us came first or second.

After that we had a break and chilled for a bit. Shortly after, we did the vortex which Harvey, Anna and Teddy were, dare I say, fab-u-lous darling as Craig Revel Horwood would say.

Then was the worst of all but attempted the 600 metre race. Which we also were stars at: Rafaela, Nya and Harvey were 1st, 2nd and 1st and the overall score was second out of sixteen and we are going through to the county finals.

By the delightful Jasmine and the absolutely fantastic Anna.

(PS: We are so proud to have competed in this competition and to represent our school. Many thanks to Miss Blake for organising this opportunity for us)
