Sports Peer Leaders – “We are the Sports Peer Leaders – (Danny-Joe, Joe, Ned, Toby, Maya, Jess, Tilly, Talia, Orla, Carys and Armand) and we are part of a new leadership scheme in school which helps younger children become more active at playtime and before school. We help out at Huff and Puff, Breakfast Club, Sports Festivals and PE. You can identify us by our turquoise hoodies on the days we help support others”. Thank you – I would like to thank Mr O’Neill for talking to the children in assembly on Monday about his job. Tracey Dunn

Open Classrooms – This is an opportunity to drop in between 2pm and 2.45pm (parents and carers will need to leave the classroom at 3pm) to see what your child(ren) have been doing in class. We will be delighted to see you. Please note that this is not a suitable time to speak to teachers about your child’s progress or concerns that you may have.

Use of the Outdoor Play Equipment After School

Please can we remind parents to use the grounds as you would during the day and ensure all litter is put into the playground bins. Use of the equipment after school is at your own risk, and children must be supervised at all times. Thank you

Blackbird Cake Sale – Due to the Yr 1 /2 trip to @Bristol on Friday 5th Feb, the Blackbird Cake Sale will now take place on Friday 12th Feb.

Outside Play and Forest Schools – Please note that Forest Schools will run whatever the weather so children should come prepared with suitable footwear and clothing.

All children require an appropriate winter coat to be able to play outside at break-time and lunchtime. Those that fail to bring one in may have to spend their break-time indoors.

Fitz Friends

The Jumble Sale on Saturday raised an AMAZING £750 for Fitz Friends! Massive thanks to Esther Howard and team for all their hard work, and to everyone who donated items and came along to grab a bargain.

Don’t forget….

Forms for the LEGO Movie (Saturday 30th January, 2pm) went out in book bags earlier this week. Please return completed forms to the office by Wednesday 27th January.
