Headlines

Social Media – Following on from our Safer Internet Day, we are sending home a leaflet on making sure you are being safe when using Facebook. We have a Safeguarding page on our website which has a wealth of information and links to other useful sites to ensure you and your child remain safe when using the internet.

It has come to our attention that some parents have been expressing their displeasure with school on social media sites.  We ask that you come in and talk to us to give us an opportunity to resolve any issues that you may have. If we don’t know there is a problem, we have no chance of fixing it.

World Book Day – This year to celebrate World Book Day we will not be dressing up as a book character. Instead, we would like the children to bring an object in that is associated with their favourite book. We will then ask the children to become “book detectives”, using the object as a clue to guess other people’s favourite books. Can all children please bring in their object and the book on Monday, so that we can use them throughout the week. Please do not allow them to bring in anything of sentimental or monetary value.

Running Club – Please note that there will be no Running Club this term but it will return in Term 5.

Compete Online Challenge for FS2/KS1 – This is being held on Tuesday 1st March. Please make sure PE Kit is in school.

Puffin Class Cake Sale – A reminder that this is being held on Friday 4th March.
