Headlines

Telephone System and Answer Machine – We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst our answer machine is currently out of order. We are in the process of having a new telephone system installed with a dedicated absence line. In the meantime please continue to report any absences via email to office@fitzmaurice.wilts.sch.uk. Many thanks for your help and understanding.

 

School Run Clubs – Please note that there will be no clubs (with the exception of Ukulele Club) running for the remainder of this term. Please ensure your child is collected at the end of the normal school day, 3.20pm.

 

PE T-shirts – We still have a number of Fitzmaurice PE T-shirts which have not been returned. Please ensure these are given back to Miss Blake before the end of term.

 

Uniform Sales – We will be selling our school uniform in the playground after school on Thursday 14th & Thursday 21st July. We have a variety of items and sizes available at reduced prices.

 

Y3/4 Swimming – Swift Class need helpers to walk them to and from the swimming pool on Wednesday 13th. Please see Miss Moore ASAP if you are able to help. Thank you.

Travel Plan Questionnaire – Following on from the success of permission being granted for a Puffin crossing on Frome Road, we will now once again turn our attentions to campaigning for a second crossing on Trowbridge Road. We would be grateful for your support in this matter and ask that you please complete the attached questionnaire and return to the school office by Thursday 14th July.

 

BOA Arts festival Lantern Parade – The annual BOA arts festival lantern parade on Saturday 17th September is fast approaching. This year’s parade theme is space and there will be workshops running every Saturday at The Vaults, Lamb Yard from 10am – 2pm. Lantern kits can also be bought from Brown’s Hardware on Silver St, and Made in Bradford, Lamb Yard. Please see the following link for more information: http://www.boaartsfestival.com/lanterns

We’ve beaten our fundraising target for the year so come and help us celebrate at Fitz Picnic after school on Thursday 21st July. We can now confirm there will be live music thanks to Pomme Fitz! Please see the flier attached for further details.
