KS1 Writers of the Week: Harry P, Imagen S & Evelyn A

Lunchbowl Charity – Thank you to everyone who dressed up in support of the lunchbowl charity at the end of last term. We raised £254.10 which will enable the charity to provide 684 children with meals in Kibera, Nairobi.

Children in Need – Thankyou to everyone who dressed up as heroes in support of this year’s Children in Need appeal. We raised a grand total of £344.37

Headlines

Puffin Class – Please could all children in Puffin class bring their toothbrush to School on Tuesday 1st December. We are going to be investigating how well we clean our teeth, using disclosing tablets. If your child has a possible allergy to these tablets please let Miss Blake know, as they will not be able to take part.

Menu Amendment – Please note that the meat option for Tuesday 15th December has now been changed to chilli con carne. If you would like to amend your menu choice in light of this, please let the kitchen know ASAP. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that children who chose the original meat option are happy to have chilli con carne instead.

Collecting KS1 Children – Please ensure that you have notified the class teacher/TA if someone else is going to be collecting your child. If there is an unexpected change, please telephone the School office BEFORE 3pm where possible to ensure notices can be delivered in time.

Christmas Fair – Don’t forget the fabulous Christmas Fair, this Saturday in the School Hall from 1.30-4.30pm. Please see the new Fitz Friends newsletter for more information.
