Mr Macleod will be talking to parents and carers about e safety on Monday 22nd March at 7pm.  Children are using many kinds of electronic communication and it is important that we take as much care to protect them when they are online as we do when we allow them to go out and about.  If you would like to know more about how to ensure your child is as safe as possible when using technology, please come along and find out more.

On the morning of  Thursday 18th March Wren class will be visiting Lackham College, Lacock to see the new lambs.  If they are very lucky they may even see one being born.  A letter about the trip was given to the children on Wednesday 3rd.  If you have not recieved one please call in at the office or email and one can be sent out to you.

On Thursday 18th March, the whole school will be taking part in a sponsored mile run or walk to raise funds for sports relief.  Look out for a sponsor form which your child will bring home in the week beginning Monday 8th March with full details of this fun event.  Lets hope the weather stays bright and dry!

On Monday 15th March from 3.20pm to 4.15pm, parents and carers are invited to visit their child’s classroom and look at his/her work and the displays in the classroom.  Please come along and encourage your child to share all the exciting things he/she has been learning this term with you.  We look forward to seeing you.

Congratulations to our football team who won the cluster football tournament which was held at Christ Church Primary School on Monday 25th January.  They now go forward to the West Wiltshire County finals which are being held on Monday 1st February at Kingdown School, Warminster at 3.30pm.  Good Luck!

On Friday 22nd January our girls team won the West Wiltshire Cross Country event which was held at Southwick Country Park in damp, muddy conditions.  Congratulations to them all for a tremendous effort.  A big ‘well done’ to the boys team who also put in a great performance.  Thank you to parents who helped with transport and stayed to support the children.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Haiti day appeal such a success.  We have raised an amazing £526.13.  This was achieved from donations in exchange for non uniform, cake sales, the sale of bookmarks the children made in class and the sale of cards made by one of our year 6 girls.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.  The money raised has been donated to the DEC Haiti fund.
